These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the DriveMe Goa website and our car rental services. By making a booking or using our website, you agree to follow these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking and Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed once we receive your reservation details and our partner approves availability. In some cases, we may contact you to verify information or request additional details required for rental eligibility.
2. Payment
Payment can be made by cash, debit card, or other approved methods at the time of vehicle pickup. No credit card is required unless stated otherwise for specific car categories.
3. No Deposit Option
Many rental options are available with no security deposit. However, some vehicle types or high-season dates may require a refundable deposit based on partner policies. Any such condition will be clearly communicated before final confirmation.
4. Driver Requirements
The renter must present a valid driver’s license and passport or government ID. Licenses in English are generally accepted. If your license is not in English, an International Driving Permit may be required. The minimum age to rent is usually 21, depending on the vehicle class.
5. Vehicle Condition and Use
- The vehicle must be returned in the same general condition as received.
- Fuel policy: return the vehicle with the same fuel level as provided at pickup.
- The renter is responsible for safe driving and compliance with local traffic laws.
- Off-road driving, racing, and reckless use are strictly prohibited.
6. Insurance
Most rentals include basic insurance coverage. Additional insurance upgrades may be available upon request. The renter is responsible for any damage not covered by insurance or caused by improper use of the vehicle.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made before the pickup day are generally free of charge. Last-minute cancellations or no-show situations may be subject to cancellation fees depending on the rental partner’s policy. We always aim to be flexible and fair.
8. Airport and Hotel Delivery
Delivery and pickup services are available at Goa Dabolim International Airport and major hotels or villas across Goa. Exact meeting instructions will be sent after booking confirmation.
9. Responsibility and Liability
DriveMe Goa acts as a booking platform and works with licensed local rental providers. The rental agreement is formed between you and the local rental partner supplying the vehicle. All vehicles are owned, insured, and maintained by the respective partner.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary. The latest version will always be posted on this page. Continued use of our services means you accept any updated terms.
